Edgewater Laughlin
Has anyone ever had a REAL wedding in Laughlin, Nevada?
My finace and I have almost definitely decided on getting married at the Edgewater, but I don't know anyone who has done it. We're having a real wedding with a real reception, but I just wanted some feedback on it...I'm beginning to have second thoughts about the location...
I dont think anyone on Yahoo Answers will have gotten married there. You really should not make your decision depending on what others think. If you and your fiance love it, then get married there. Maybe you can be the one to start a trend. Some considerations you should be aware of if you still are unsure:
-Weather and what your guests will experience if its outside.
-Time of day (you dont want it to be melting hot--or melting your cake)
-Bugs (bee's and mosquito's go where people are)
-Travel distance for your guests (consider road conditions also)
- Photography, cloudy or later in the day sunlight is best for photos. (mid-day lighting is the harshest)
- Does the facility provide restrooms, chairs, tables, and a kitchen?
- How many people can it accommodate?
Tip: I bought my own expensive camera (at the same cost I would have spent on just pics) and asked a close friend that I felt was good at taking pictures (plus I gave her references to websites with great wedding photos) to take my wedding photos. That way my photography was free, I could pick the photos I wanted, and I had a nice camera to use on my honeymoon. I'm an artist, so this was convenient for me, but I think it would be for anyone!
