Clay Filled
looking for a soft filling putty or model clay?
I need a soft filling putty (preferably available in black) (or model clay ? ) to fill in the holes in ornate plaster air vents.
i dont want it to dry hard, so I can easily remove it later if needed.
please suggest any product that you know think of.
something similar to play doh would be perfect (play doh may not last and may also be attractive to mice).
how big are the holes? You could look for silicone caulking, it will stay elastic and is not too hard to remove if you need it gone. Not quite sure whether it's available in black, but I think there are some dark colors you can get. Another option might be just using plasticine, it never will get hard, though it will melt if exposed to heat (e.g. if the air vent carries hot air, not at normal room temperatures). Plasticine is available in all colors.
