Coast Casino
Is there a Casino somewhere in California?
I live on the East coast. My gfriend and I are going to Vegas again for her bday but I'm tired of Vegas. Neither of us have ever been to any state on the West coast.
Is there a place on the West coast that we can go that has a Casino?
Yes, the above poster is correct. There are indian casinos in California. Just another option to consider, Oregon and Washington has them too (indian casinos). Near major airports in metropolitan cities and their coastal tourist locations. You could check out Seattle, WA or Portland, OR and the coast of both states if you are looking for gambling and coastal tourist type stuff. I have lived in the states out West, they are equally as good for tourist destinations if you are from the East Coast.
Granted, you want "West Coast" but let me suggest this....Have you ever been to Reno? From Reno you can check out Virginia City, Lake Tahoe (both the CA and NV side) and Carson City. You can have the gambling, site-seeing, history, nice dining, etc. It is just a small-scale Las Vegas with more things to do than just gamble and drink. Sacramento is less than two hours away and the bay not too far from that.
Like I said, I have lived in the Western states my whole life and I settled on Reno, NV despite having lived in Oregon, Washington and spending some time in California. Decide what you would like to see beyond casinos. Casinos are a great attraction in any of these states. What beyond casinos do you want to see? Check out the tourism websites for Seattle, Portland and, though not coastal, Reno (my personal favorite) and decide for yourself. You will find Gambling in all these states. Have fun!
