Milipitas or Fremont in California, USA?
If you had to stay in a hotel in Fremont or a hotel in Milipitas, both cities in California, which would you pick? Which city is better?
kind of a toss up if you ask me. Fremont is closer (but not much) to SF and Oakland entertainment venues. Fremont also has easier public transit options if that's important to you.
I do know there's a nice W Hotel in Fremont near the Dumbarton Bridge. Not sure if there's anything on par to that down in Milpitas. The only good thing about staying in Milpitas for me would be to get a place near the Great Mall - you can score some pretty good deals there. Other than that, Milpitas really doesn't have that much to offer.
Fremont- on the other hand, has lots of scenic places to check out- Lake Elizabeth, Quarry Lakes, Coyote Hills regional park. Lots of shopping/dining options as well.
