Will basic strategy still work if the casino cuts the deck all the time?

I noticed that the dealer has someone(a player) cut the deck after the first half of the shoe is played. Can you still use basic strategy to gain advantage over the house?

Basic strategy isn't designed to gain an advantage over the house. It's designed to make the best possible play under the different scenarios, but there is still a house advantage.

The only way to possibly tilt the advantage in the players favor (and only slightly) is to be an excellent card counter, and know how to adjust your bets based on the count.
