Is there a standing mri machine in New England?
I have a friend that has tried several times to have an mri but can not bear the pain to lay down flat. He now has to have a physical before he can be put under to have the procedure. He is in excrutiating pain and would like to have the mri sooner that later. If there was a standing mri machine he would not have to be put under therefore delaying the wait since he would not need a physical. Does anyone know of any place in New England that has such a machine?
I haven't heard of one anywhere.
