How do I get my 1 year old to eat table food?
My son is almost 1. He is capable of eating table food. He has 6 teeth. Whenever I try to give him something he won't even try it. When I put it on his tray he throws it off. I have tried spoon feeding it to him and letting him do it himself. It's time to put the baby food away. Sometimes when he sees me eating food he will try it off my plate. He has had things like rice, banana, beans. Some days he will eat those, most days he won't try it or if I can get it in he spits it right out. Any tips?
It is definitely finger food time ..... and try mash potato's and other soft foods just remember not too spicy.
