My non-Christian, unsaved, good friends, what are the latest of your abominations?
Hi there, a non-Christian, unsaved Deist here. Here's a nice list of my abominations unto the Christian Lord:
- I rejected Jesus as a Saviour twice through the last month ( I really did, vocally)
- That's not recent but I've been a gay guy for as far as I can remember, so I guess my blood shall be upon me by now.
- I wore clothes made of two different materials (Nylon and cotton, yeah!)
- 1 month ago I ate shrimps. God have mercy!
- The last but no the least.....*Drum roll*..... I worked a little on some Sundays and Saturdays!!

Yeah, I'm gay. Hence damned. My one chance at salvation would be to slink through life denying my own nature and lying to everybody, maybe involving some naive, confused girl in my web of deceit, eventually snapping and winding up in a cheap motel snorting meth of the butt of a gay hooker, then "seeing the light" and returning to The Fold under social pressure - all the better for it really, because as St Paul says, "where sin abounded, there did grace that much more abound." Then I could die miserable and unfulfilled, but afterwards! - afterwards I'd be caught up into heaven with all the other righteous, and we could all amuse ourselves by casting our eyes downwards at the torments of the people in hell who lacked our willpower in self-sacrifice and denial.
Or I could just enjoy myself and pursue happiness in this life, and fear not that any God worthy of the name would deny me the joy of the fulfillment of the nature with which He endowed me.
