Your thoughts on WHY Vic Darchinyan drop out of his rematch with Nonito Donaire?
Vic has called Nonito all kinds of names from chicken to "The Filipino Fraud". And yet Nonito has offered him a rematch since he knocked Vic the bleep out. Vic had an automatic rematch clause in his contract and had every right to take a rematch. He said he was not hurt by Nonito in their first fight but we all know why he was not hurt. Now when the chance of redemption was upon him, Vic wants out. Stating "I want to be a four or five division titlist, not wasting time for Princess Nonito to figure out if he wants to fight,'' Nonito was on his way to Vegas to sign the contract so he thought, only to be greeted by Todd Debouf with bad news of Vic pulling out. Vic is a nobody, just a powerful fighter that will get ko'd again by Nonito. Nonito has his sites set on Fernando Montiel now. I believe Fernando would be a more competitive fighter than Vic would be for Nonito.
nonito and his team are not confident that they can actually KO The new Vic, after all Vic proved he's a force to reckon at super flyweight. nonito admitted after the fight that Darchinyan opened himself widely and he took his time and connected with left counter while Vic lunged in with his own punch to land at nonito and got countered effectively, as the punching power doubled when Vic Jumped at ninito. So nonito knows that the first Darchinyan is no longer around and he won't be granted with a second chance to KO Darchinyan, simply for this reason ninito didn't sign the contract. With simple logic approach one should evaluate the situation in his mind, that if ninito considers montiel as a better competition then he should have a convincing thought that he can easily KO Darchinyan just to shut him up, as he's been telling the news he wants to KO him again just to shut him up. You see it's not so easy and simply for ninito to gain self-confidence that he definitely can KO the new Darchinyan. As a result of the lack of confidence on ninito's side he therefore failed to sign the contract. To sign a contract you don't need to travel to Vegas to sign the contract, just as Darchinyan didn't travel to USA to sign the contract. The logic of the credibility presented by both parties speaks for the facts plainly.
I have to admit that ninito's excuse is a typical Filipino trick that I'm well familiar with on daily basis. I see those senseless creatures everyday.
