Which casino on the strip in Vegas offers the best comps?
I will being staying at the Venetian. I plan on playing $25 hand blackjack for 4-5hrs per day. How good would the Venetian comps for this level of play be versus Caesar's, MGM, etc.?
As stated, $25/hand is not big money on the strip. I used to live in Vegas and I'd play at Station Casinos (Boulder, Sunset, etc) I'd play $5, and $10 hands for a few hours maybe 3-4 days a week, and I was getting almost everything comped to me. Cafe meals, movies, dinner in the Steakhouse. It's not about how much you play, it's about how long, and your average bet. If if you've won a ton, they will comp you a meal, because they know in the long run, they'll get it back.
I've seen people walk up to a table, place a $1000 bet lose, and ask for a free dinner and get denied. They don't reward that...time means much more to them then money does....because in time...they're going to come out ahead.
Just remember, if you do happen toget a comp for a meal, tips are not included, so, make sure you have some cash for the waitress/waiter.
Also, get yourself a players card, so they can more easily track your play, and when you want a meal, ask the pit boss.
I got to a point where my local casino knew me, and I could walk in ask a pit boss for meals for me and my family that just came in, and get 4 free meals in the cafe for breakfast without putting down a single bet. Like I said, I wasn't a high roller....$5 and $10 hands.
Make friends, and if your goal is to get comps, stick to one place, let them see you hanging out spending money.
